Gujarat Tourism is being redefined

.

Dear Friends,

I am happy to learn that you love Gujarat so much. Though you have settled on foreign land, your native place is so close to your heart. I am glad to know that you, being Gujarati, wish to contribute to the growth and development of Gujarat. When Gujarat prospers, our motherland, India, will certainly prosper.

You wish to begin with tourism, right?

You are settled in different countries. But if your group makes well-directed efforts, you can certainly redefine tourism in Gujarat. Though lot of information on Gujarat is available in print and on the Net, I shall be pleased to lend a hand in your efforts. I can keep you informed on recent developments here. I can also keep you briefing on the fresh perspectives of different topics and issues of your interest.

I shall present my views, experiences and the subject information in such a lucid way that you can grasp them easily. Take note of all the points and compile all data. You discuss and decide what to project and when. Present the right matter powerfully to the right audience at the right time.

As you know, friends, Gujarat is a fast developing state in India. Rapid progress of Gujarat is a matter of pride for India, our motherland. Gujarat has gained a respectful position at the international level. Gujarat’s fast pace of development is being noticed by the United Nations (UN),  the United States of America (USA) as well as other organizations and countries globally. Western countries take note of the development in Gujarat.  Countries like UK, France and Germany in Europe and eastern countries like Japan and Korea are viewing progress of Gujarat with great interest. Gujarat has been in limelight now.

All the factors have led to Tourism boom in Gujarat. If Gujarat tourism thrives, Indian tourism will also come to life. Not only Gujarat will be vibrant, the whole India will be vibrant and shining. Friends! Isn’t it a matter of pride for all of us, for all the Indians?

Gujarat tourism industry is gaining momentum. Gujarat tourism is all set to scale new heights in near future. Government of Gujarat, under the stewardship of Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has taken tourism in Gujarat with all seriousness. You might have noticed, friends, aggressive promotion of Gujarat tourism with towering personality of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is a welcome sign. As rightly mentioned by you, the superstar Amitabh Bachchan has done a great job as the brand ambassador of Gujarat tourism. Hope it continues to work. TV campaigns promoting tourist attractions in Gujarat (Somnath, Ambaji, Saputara and Kutch- to name a few) are dazzling. Invitation to travel Gujarat by Amitabh Bachchan is appealing to viewers. All the efforts are yielding results. As such, Gujarati people are known for hospitality. Tourists from all over India and also from several countries of the world are now thronging to Gujarat. This is a good beginning. But still Gujarat tourism has a long way to go. Lot of work needs to be done at all the levels. Bureaucrats, officials, tourism agencies and all concerned with the tour and travel business in Gujarat will have to change mentality and attitudes. They will have to make dedicated and focused efforts. They need to co-ordinate well, synchronize machineries and review the results in all earnestness.

Gujarat has the longest sea coast among all the states of India. What a boosting factor it can be for tourism in Gujarat!

Gujarat has proved its mettle in every field of economy. Commerce and industries in Gujarat are flourishing extraordinarily. Tourism can contribute substantially to the growth of the state. There are plenty of tourist spots in Gujarat. There are innumerable places of tourist interest all over Gujarat. Few of them are known, many others are little known. Most of them are in utter negligence. Time is ripe to redefine Gujarat tourism.

Let us look forward to Gujarat tourism – redefined!

All best wishes!
